It’s no surprise that when you have pride in yourself you are likely to take pride in your work. It makes sense that if members are proud to be part of a group, the group is more likely to experience expanded results.

As an entrepreneur, I watch economic trends pretty closely. For the most part, where I see economic improvement, there is also an elevation in accountability and a greater commitment to excellence. 

I’m not convinced that’s a coincidence.  Question, have you experienced a improvement in finance and your sense of self?  I know I have!

I am passionate about having people around me living lives they love. About beauty, romance and self expression. I will know I have lived a worthy life if those touch by my influence contemplate the range or their passions and bring thise joys to their daily living.

What are you truly passionate about?  (Enjoy the secret smile that thought brought to your face and invite it back on a regular basis.)

She says to not get in trouble.  To not be embarrassed.  So you don’t get caught or punished.  Her list  went on like that.

My list was simple.  You do what is right because it’s the right thing to do.  I think consequences were invented to teach people what the right thing is, so we can govern ourselves accordingly.  Somewhere along the line, our conscious must have moved outside of us.  Like Jiminy Cricket. 

Question, do I do good for my own sake or for others to see (or not see)?

Brilliant man.  Brilliant question.  I am wrapping up several projects in the next few weeks.  New projects on the horizon that are a bold departure from what I have been doing.  Powerful communication will be key.

Question, is my inner smallness using my phone and my foot to scare (or divert) me from my greatness?  Hmmmmmmm.

There are lots of things I do here and there, but nothing consistent.  No practices I have honored as sacred, though I know my life is more rich when I do.

Question, how can I balance being a mom and a business owner with having a deep spirit connection?

The United Nations has set aside March 8th as International Women’s Day.  Celebrating nurturing, healing and the impact women have on peace world wide is an important thing to do.

I will be including lots of powerful men in my celebration that day.  Men, including my father and my husband who are gentle, kind, loving people who understand there are two sides to every story and that all people deserve to be heard.  People who understand that dignity is more important than money and the things it can buy.  Who know that playing with a child is a valuable use of time.

I will celebrate the essence of women and feminine leadership regardless of where it comes from.

How will you honor it?

Here’s why.  The eight hour work day and the forty hour work week (giving most Americans the weekends off) began with legislation in Wisconsin.  Workman’s Comp and unemploymemt insurance started there.  People exercised their Democratic rights and duties to make it possible.  They cared enough to take the action necessary.

Question, am I willing to fight for what’s right, even if I may never live to see the end?  What is “right enough”for me to stand for?

Friendships end.  Families get broken.  And people are left lonely.

That’s a reasonable description of what happen today.  It could be about anything, love, money, work.  The subject matter isn’t as important as how we handle it.

Question, how can I keep being a grown up in a childish argument?

Question, what’s available when I get out of my own way?

I don’t have a magic wand to wave and make it all better.  I can’t turn back time, pay off mortgages and hire a bunch of people.  I can’t cure people I love or take away their mourning.

But I can take care of myself so I can am able to be strong when they are not.  So I can feel joy and find beauty in the dark times and share them with those who can’t see them.

Question(s), what is my song?  What is the sound deep within me crying to get out?  Is it an angry sound or a joyful one?  One that heals or hurts or hides?
